Who We Are
Twenty-Five Years of Supporting Eastbluff
A community-built foundation, by parents and for students, since 2001.
Our Mission
The Eastbluff Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to supporting Eastbluff Elementary School in Newport Beach, California. We fund the programs, technology, and enrichment opportunities that go beyond what public school budgets can fully provide — the experiences that make Eastbluff exceptional.
Our History
The Eastbluff Foundation was founded in 2001 by a group of Eastbluff dads who wanted to do more for their kids' school. Originally known as “EDADS,” the foundation began as a small group raising funds for classroom needs and has grown into the school's primary independent fundraising vehicle.
Today, the Foundation welcomes the entire Eastbluff community: parents, grandparents, alumni, neighbors, and local businesses who believe in investing in our students. We've spent over two decades funding the things that matter — classroom technology, enrichment programs, teacher support, and the experiences that shape a great elementary school education.
How We Work
The Eastbluff Foundation is run entirely by volunteers. We have no paid staff and no operating overhead beyond minimal administrative costs. 100% of donations go directly to funding programs at Eastbluff Elementary.
Our board reviews funding requests from teachers, school administration, and PTA leadership, and directs grants to where they will have the most impact for Eastbluff students.
Transparency
The Eastbluff Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity. We file an annual Form 990 with the IRS, available to the public through the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search by searching our EIN.
